Um, sorry, but the sky was too beautiful the other night *not* to post this picture. Please enjoy the view from my apartment, a post-polar-vortex sunset :)
I’m leaving behind all social media for awhile (link in bio for the blog post explaining why). So if you know me in the real world, call me or something!
You know, I was looking at all the pictures I’ve taken since the start of 2018, and I began to notice a trend. I take a lot of tree pictures—of their trunks, of their foliage, and of their shadows. I think there’s a metaphor in there somewhere for what that says about my 2018, but I have yet to suss it out. - All I know is that for 2019, I want to find peace and happiness within myself. 2018 was pretty challenging for me in a lot of ways—mentally and emotionally. But ultimately it was a year of huge self-discovery, self-knowledge, and self-growth. I hope that trend continues into 2019, but in a more productive way than it presented itself in 2018. - And I also hope to take more pictures of trees, because then that means I’m outside in a green and happy place.
Yo, getting paid to hang out with peoples’ dogs is pretty freaking great (especially when they are this cute). #rover #roverdogsitter #minneapolisdogs #minneapolis #dogs
I guess you could say I like poking holes in paper and sewing them together with thread? These lil books were made from just a standard (and ugly and flimsy) store-bought sketchbook. Personally, I think these are a lot cooler, but ... 🤷🏼‍♀️. If you might be in the market for a small lil sketchbook/notebook, check out my Etsy shop (link in bio) where these are up for sale. I’m always happy to create custom books/journals too, so if you have ideas let me know and I’d be thrilled to do some experimenting/collaborating! ✌🏼
